OWNER & HISTORY

Dog Pound Apparel was established in November 2016 at the Pi Psi Chapter Frat House by Bro. Reed, 5-16-Pi Psi -- He is currently a doctoral student at the University of Illinois - Chicago, working towards a PhD in Criminology, Law and Justice. Jacob recently received his master's degree in May of 2020!

While balancing family, education, and entrepreneurship, Jacob's goal is to create beautiful one-of-a-kind garments utilizing custom embroidery services. Dog Pound Apparel / Lee Reed Embroidery has been in the embroidery industry since 2017, but it wasn't until 2020 that we we're prepared to offer embroidery as a service.

As the business grows, it is my goal to extend the opportunity to collaborate with additional graphic designers, clothing manufacturers, apparel makers, creatives, OWT BRUHZ, and more! Feel free to connect on any one of our platforms!

Dog Pound Apparel is constantly expanding and upgrading its equipment to offer the best quality service available. Currently, Dog Pound Apparel is proud to offer in-house heat press, vinyl cutting and now embroidery services to make your custom apparel, just the way you want it!

Our focus is combining fashionable sportswear with unique apparel designs to make apparel exclusively for the Bruhz! Presently, Dog Pound Apparel offers a range of apparel items including: shirts, shorts, line jackets, tank-tops, windbreakers, hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, pullovers and more!

Our new embroidery services will expand the type of items that will be available including: satin and bomber line jackets, line shirts, jerseys, sweaters, sweatpants, hats, pillows, etc.

Each and every item you see on the site is custom made, one-by-one! Thanks to our in-house equipment, there are a range of possibilities for meeting your unique apparel needs. If you have an idea or project in mind but you do not see it readily available on the site, please fill out a contact us form and let's get you taken care of!

The various apparel items on this site are manufactured with the highest quality vinyl and embroidery material available! This means your gear will last the test of time, with proper care of course!

*Remember to wash your clothes inside out, with cold water; low tumble dry or air dry preferred. Do not iron the vinyl directly, always turn the garment inside out first!
